With an aggressive launch schedule for our next generation suite of SaaS solutions, Lytica is looking for a Junior BDR (Business Development Representative) to uncover new long-term customers for our products.
You’re an ideal fit for this role if you are an energetic, inquisitive and passionate professional who is interested in growing, learning, and building your skills within our company! Prior experience within our industry isn’t a requisite, although a technical minor and a curiosity about all things – hi-tech – would be an asset.
As a BDR, you will be on the ground floor of our growing Marketing & Sales Team. You will be working individually and with the team to support our market development efforts. The BDR will be responsible for qualifying incoming leads gained from various marketing efforts (LinkedIn Ads, Blogs, email campaigns). You will reference market research along with conducting your own research in making first contact with potential customers. Ultimately, you will be focusing on prospecting, lead generation, outreach, and ensuring a full pipeline for our Sales team. Your success will have a significant impact on the growth of our business through new customer acquisition, interaction with our leadership team and by scaling pipelines to meet our growth plans. The BDR is also expected to play a key role in analyzing successes/failures and providing ongoing refinement to the BDR playbook.
A diploma or degree in; Marketing, Technology, Supply Chain Management, or related fields
Industry experience within the electronic component/equipment supply chain is not a requisite, but is applicable
Marketing, Sales or Business Development experience would be an asset.
Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada and near Lytica’s office in the National Capital Region.
