Marketing Automation Specialist

Welcome to the Ross Corporate Marketing team! As the Marketing Automation Specialist, your primary role is to develop operational excellence around our use of marketing automation (HubSpot), in order to inspire customer engagement and retention by building campaigns, test and analyze workflow, generate leads, track and measure results. This role will also help to build out our digital demand programs with a focus on digital advertising and email marketing.

Some of the things you will work on:

  • Responsible for the development and execution of email, SEO, and SEM campaigns.
  • Manage marketing automation efforts and processes, proactively researching and implementing the latest best practices, strategies, and industry standards.
  • Identify list segmentation criteria based on audience behavior, demographic, geographic, psychographic characteristics, etc.
  • Maintain Marketing Automation integration with CRM (Salesforce) and assist in the integration of additional platforms into the marketing automation software.
  • Evaluate campaign metrics and distribute campaign performance to the marketing team.
  • Perform A/B testing to define and execute improvements to productivity, conversion rates, and campaign ROI.
  • Create recommendations to improve campaigns.
  • Support marketing operations initiatives in HubSpot and Salesforce, such as managing the lead lifecycle, lead scoring, lead nurturing, segmentation, and data cleansing.
  • Ensure compliance while executing email marketing campaigns and data collecting.

You should have experience with:

  • Post-secondary education with emphasis on Marketing, Advertising, or a general business program.
  • 3+ years of experience in a demand generation role, working with multiple projects and the ability to meet specific deadlines.
  • Sound knowledge of inbound marketing/digital marketing best practices
  • Sound computer and database skills
  • Familiarity with the marketing and sales processes
  • Sound knowledge of inbound marketing/digital marketing best practices
  • Sound knowledge of CRM (Salesforce) and Marketing Automation platforms (HubSpot, Pardot, or Marketo).
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel)
