What you’ll do

You will work in a cross functional development team in which continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing is part of the daily work.

Your role will include all development activities such as requirements analysis, Signal Integrity analysis and simulations, Power Integrity analysis and simulations, timing analysis (both basic and DDR), layout constraints, via structures, PCB stackup definitions, and working closely with our Analog HW, Digital HW, Power, and FPGA groups to produce high quality designs.

What you MUST have to get the job done

  • 10+ years’ experience and bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Ability to lead complete SI (and ideally PI) simulation efforts from start to finish
  • Experience with Ansys HFSS and SiWave
  • Experience with Keysight ADS
  • Experience with Hyperlynx SI/PI
  • Ability to read and comprehend various hardware specifications
  • Ability to review customer or marketing SOWs and PRDs
  • Ability to write detailed design documents and create detailed spreadsheets
  • Willing to do DVT work (helping validate the simulations) as well as the initial design work (own the full product cycle)
  • Experience in design and testing of analog and digital circuitry to realize embedded system design
  • High Speed serial interfaces, CPRI, PCIe, Ethernet and JESD protocols
  • Experience with DDR3 and DDR4 memory designs and layout
  • Constraints management and coordinating PCB layout activities
  • Experience with FPGA devices (pre-emphasis and equalization)
  • Driving issues to closure
  • Schematic capture and layout (Cadence, Mentor, Altium)
  • Ability to participate in project scheduling and to meet the schedule that is agreed to
